Nobody warned me Makassar is so wonderful. Until I went there and realized I should have stay much much muuuch longer. You know, Makassar is one complete package to spend holiday. Say hello to good foods, great beaches, highlands, and various cultures. This was my first visit.
Our first destination was Bantimurung and Balasaurung National Park. Bantimurung is well known for its butterflly. At first I felt a bit frightened thinking about that animal. Frankly, I don't like butterfly or any other insects, but I was disappointed that I did not find any living butterfly as I arrived there. They were all frozen in glass boxes or acrylics as souvenirs. Died.
One of the officers said the butterflies live on the higher land. Another said it was not the season. I myself just found one monkey on a tree.

The next day we headed to Malino, a highland to get some fresh air. In the middle of the trip, we stop by for lunch in Bili-Bili. We can eat while enjoying Bili-Bili lake.
