So, last week I need to work outside to finish my freelance job. Yep, translation job.
Boring? No more, since you always have a reason to visit nice places and eat a-pretty-expensive food. Haha..
The place is Kalpa Tree, located in Ciumbuleuit. I got recommendation from a friend.

There were a family gathering, and a surprise birthday party. So, if you want to arrange a party, this place is totally perfect! 
Ah, This is very unique. I ordered Hainan Chicken Rice. What came across in my mind was neat composition of white rice, slices of chicken breast, and a bowl of clear tofu soup, and maybe a chilli sauce that was all so Chinese.
Turn out the plate was messy and uninteresting. I got disappointed for a moment. Until I realized it was Hainan Chicken Rice with Indonesian Twist. The rice was savory with serundeng (fried shredded coconut) as topping and mixed with chicken chunks. So good. You can see the leaves around the rice? It was fried and also good. OMG..it was nothing until I tasted the chilli. That was 'sambal terasi'! Wow! You have to try it, guys.
 
Everything was instagrammable. Too bad I came by myself and my phone battery got low. Haha..
